Location: Tokyo, Japan
Salary: 10–12 million JPY

Overview
This role focuses on leading hardware development projects for advanced automotive electronic systems, working closely with both local OEM customers and global engineering teams.

You will take ownership of hardware delivery across the full project lifecycle, coordinating cross functional teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead hardware development projects from RFQ phase through to production launch
• Coordinate cross functional teams including engineering, validation, procurement, and quality
• Act as the main point of contact for all hardware related deliverables
• Manage project timelines, risks, and resource allocation
• Oversee BOM, cost targets, and overall project profitability
• Work closely with suppliers and sourcing teams
• Drive issue resolution and project reviews
• Track KPIs related to quality, cost, and delivery
• Communicate progress to stakeholders

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years in automotive hardware or system development
• Experience leading project or engineering teams
• Strong understanding of electro mechanical systems
• Experience in cross functional and global environments

Nice to Have
• Infotainment, cockpit, or ADAS experience
• RF or thermal simulation exposure
• PMP or similar certification
• International team experience
