This role focuses on customer quality management for automotive electronic systems, acting as a key interface between OEM customers and internal global teams.
You will support quality performance across the full product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, validation, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main contact for customer quality topics with Japanese OEMs
- Investigate and analyze quality issues, including 0km and warranty claims
- Coordinate failure analysis with internal teams and global laboratories
- Lead problem-solving activities using structured quality tools (8D, root cause analysis)
- Track and manage quality issues, ensuring timely resolution
- Support quality reporting and regular customer review meetings
- Monitor quality KPIs and identify trends for improvement
- Participate in audits, design reviews, and product development phases
- Support safe launch activities and quality readiness for new programs
Requirements
- Experience in automotive quality, engineering, or project management
- Experience working directly with Japanese OEMs
- Knowledge of electronic systems (ECU, telematics, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Business-level Japanese communication skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with telematics, DCM, or automotive electronics modules
- Knowledge of IATF16949 or VDA standards
- English communication ability
- Experience with quality systems and data analysis tools
