An opportunity to join a global automotive technology company in a customer-facing technical role supporting the Japanese market.
This position sits at the intersection of engineering, customer support, and cross-functional coordination, working closely with customers, commercial teams, and international engineering groups to support product application activities and technical issue resolution.
The role has a stronger focus on application engineering and technical customer support, though experience in quality engineering or customer quality support would be highly valuable.

Key Responsibilities

Application Engineering / Technical Support

  • Support customers and internal commercial teams in identifying suitable technical solutions
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal engineering functions
  • Support technical discussions related to customer requirements and product applications
  • Coordinate internally across engineering, commercial, and support teams
  • Assist with technical customer meetings, presentations, and related support activities
  • Support customer-facing technical initiatives as needed

Customer Quality Support

  • Serve as a local point of contact for customer quality-related topics
  • Coordinate communication between customers and internal teams to support issue resolution
  • Analyze technical and quality-related data to support problem-solving activities
  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up on customer concerns
  • Support investigation activities related to product performance issues
  • Participate in customer review meetings and technical discussions
  • Support customer visits and related issue management when required

Requirements

Required

  • Fluent English communication skills
  • Strong technical understanding
  • University degree in engineering or a related technical discipline

Preferred

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in technical customer support, application engineering, or quality engineering
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Comfortable working in international and cross-functional environments
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
