Overview
This role focuses on managing and developing OEM customer relationships within the automotive electronics space. You will be responsible for driving sales strategy, expanding business opportunities, and ensuring strong customer engagement across multiple levels.
The position involves close collaboration with both local customers and internal global teams, with a focus on long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Japanese OEM customers
- Manage sales performance including order intake, revenue growth, and profitability
- Take ownership of customer satisfaction across quality, cost, delivery, and development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through early customer engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple customer stakeholders
- Gather and utilize market and customer insights to support business development
- Manage forecasts, orders, and production planning with customers
- Maintain and update sales pipeline and activity within CRM systems
Requirements
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
- 10+ years of experience in automotive electronics (Tier 1 or Tier 2)
- Strong understanding of automotive industry, particularly electronics, SDV, E/E architecture, or BEV
- Experience managing OEM customer relationships in Japan
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

- Existing network with Japanese OEMs (Honda, Toyota, Suzuki, Mazda, etc.)
